Gosh we had a great 4th! We left for the lake on Thursday after Jackson went to bed. We find it best to travel with him when its his bedtime. He was asleep before we pulled out of the neighborhood and I woke him up when we got there and put him straight to bed and didn't hear a peep until 7am! Now that's a GREAT sleeper :)
On Friday morning we drove to Austin to meet my new niece, Miss Eloise Eubanks Biegel. She was born on June 29th and weighed in at 8 pounds 8 oz and 20.5 inches long, She might possible be the most beautiful little angel I have ever seen. Here she is! We just don't remember Jackson being this small, but geez he was half a pound smaller!
Jackson is clearly excited to meet his new cousin at the hospital!
After we left the hospital we headed to Owen's first dance recital! It was precious!! She was very concerned on where "Baby Jackson" was the whole time and just stood there for part of it looking for him. She loves her cousin SO much that I can't even describe it. After the recital we loaded up and took Owen back to the lake with us for the weekend so John and Amy could adjust to sweet Eloise and get situated.
We completely chilled out the entire weekend at the lake with long relaxing boat rides, golf cart rides, feeding the deer and Owen just loving on Jackson the entire time! I love going to the lake on the 4th because the people directly across the lake put on an awesome firework show.....Not this year....They had a burn ban up there so I didn't see one firework this year! Sad. We headed back to Houston on Monday morning. What an awesome 4th!
Well, hello little boy!
When did he get so big?
