Neighborhood Block Party at the park

Each holiday our section of our neighborhood does a party at the park across the street from our house. All the kids had a blast...We sure did get our monies worth when we bought Superman this year! It's been worn at least 4 times and its not even Halloween yet! I should have counted but I would guess that there were at least 60 kids at the block party. They did a parade, fun games and lots of food!

Children's Museum

We got tickets to the annual Children's Museum Halloween Party for Patrons only. It was so fun and the kids didn't want to leave....They had food, fun, games, DJ (Makena and Jackson got the dance floor going), and the whole museum was open to play. It started at 6:30 and we got home a little after 9pm. I cant wait to go again next year!
The entrance into the museum

These pumkins were live puppets. Jackson got such a kick out of them since they were talking to him! He was slightly confused!
 Campbell enjoying the party!

Jackson spent a good majority of the time in the ambulance and police car. Maybe a paramedic later in life?

I was literallly crying I was laughing so hard. These two tore it up on the dance floor. I'll have to post the video! It's awesome!

Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival

You think its tough to get a photo of your ONE child....add another to mix and its nearly impossible to get a good one! We tried! It was a fun morning at the patch and Jackson picked his very own pumpkin which now resides at our front door.

After the pumpkin patch we went to a local church for "trunk or treating"...It was a really cute Fall festival wear the kids dressed up, ate candy, road the train and "trick or treated" out of trunks of every ones cars! They loved it and we all had so much fun!

1 month old

Really?! Is she already a month old. The past 4 weeks seem like such a blur. I'm getting a good amount of sleep given the circumstances but life with 2 kids NEVER stops! It's so fun even though Jackson is the hard part. The kid never stops....He has more energy than any other 2 year old.

Anyhow, Campbell is SUPER sweet. I don't want to jinx it even though I probably just did but she is so sweet right now. RARELY cries just grunts and groans like nothing I've ever heard. Eats every 3 hours on the dot. Four oz every feeding. I'm pumping exclusively. Getting much more milk this go round than with Jackson. I have a good supply already in the freezer.

We run errands everyday all day! She's a fun little shopper with me. We shop, come home to eat, then leave again! On the eve of her 1 month she slept from 9-5:45am. Justin and I may or may not have slept through her 3am feeding. I heard her cry, I woke Justin up to help me feed her, he said hold on 5 more minutes, and the next thing you know I wake up and it's 5:45am. Didn't seem to phase Campbell!! I'll take that! Hoping for a repeat tonight!

She's a huge blessing to Justin and I. Heck, even Jackson loves her too! He is always concerned with where she is and what's she doing. We are working on being gentle. He just doesn't understand that you can't poke her eyes out every chance you get. He'll get it soon!

Went to the Dr today for her one month check up and because she has been sick. Diagnosis: RSV. What this means? Restless nights and watching her every move to make sure she's not struggling to breathe or even stops breathing. Dr. said that it could last 3-4 weeks and that she would be surprised if we didn't end up in the ER at some point. That's great to hear!!! Breaks my heart to hear her cough (sounds like she's been a chronic smoker for 25 years).

Here is her stats from her 1 month checkup:
Weight: 9 pounds 14 oz (69%)
Legnth: 21.5 inches (63%)
HC: 14.75 (59%)

Here is the first of 12 months of monthly pictures.

And because I'm slightly obsessed with comparing Jackson and her (SO similar yet SO completely different)

3 weeks old {First trip to the lake}

At just 3 weeks old we made our first road trip to the lake! We were there from Wednesday to Sunday and had a blast. Everyone went to the UT/West Virginia football game while my mom and I stayed behind to babysit Campbell, Jackson, Makena and Madison. We had our hands full for sure and 4 kids is not in my future after that day. To say the least we had a blast. Campbell made her debut at the outlet mall and loved it so much that we went back the next day. Here is our weekend in pictures.
(Clearly with 2 kids you forget (have no time) to take pictures. All of these were taken in an hour span! ha :)
