Easter at school

Jackson had a fun Easter Party at his preschool. He came home with lots of loot but the best thing he came home with was this new saying..."Jesus Has Risen". I absolutely cried when he said that. He learns so much at his school and I love how he is able to attend a church preschool and learn the true meanings of life. He talks about God all the time and can sing his prayers etc, but this was the icing on the cake for sure! Here he is right before we left for school!

Just because

Here is Jackson being super silly today! We got him to pose for his first baseball picture! This kid is a nut!

Baptism

Campbell Louise got Baptised on March 10, 2013 at St. Peters UMC at 9:45am. It was a beautiful  morning with our family! Afterwards, we enjoyed brunch at our house where we served Junior League quiche, cinnamon rolls and fruit with our families. What a perfect day! She wore an heirloom gown that has been in my family forever. I wore it as a baby, my mom wore it, my grandmother wore it, and my great grandmother wore it....Campbell was the last to wear it until any of the girls have their own children. How special :)

6 months olds

Where oh where has time gone?! How in the world is my Sweet C already 6 months old? She sure is happiest little girl in town...always smiling! She really makes me so happy that I can't even explain it! People ask me what I prefer a boy or girl?! Such a HARD question to answer because its SO different. I don't prefer one over the other honestly. They are so different that its not fair to compare apples to oranges. That's truly how I feel and I can honestly say that I don't prefer a one more than the other. Then someone asked me, "well if you had a 3rd baby, what would you hope for"!. Ha, what a trick question!! They are both the best things that ever happened to me and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love having my sweet Jackson because he's a wild burst of energy that never stops....then I love having my sweet Campbell because she just smiles all the time and you can't help but kiss those chunky cheeks. Anyhow, back to C being 6 months old!

She has mastered rolling over both ways and you rarely catch her on her back anymore. She instantly rolls to her tummy the second she is placed down. Sleeps all night on her tummy too. Loves to eat solids. Actually prefers them right now over her milk. Smiles all day long. Only laughs at Jackson...Seriously.only.Jackson. She is such a champ at keeping up with all the activities and on the go movements with Jackson. She just goes with the flow. Loves her Sofie the Giraffe and anything cold to put in her mouth. Goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 7 (occasionally will whine in the middle of the night at 3am...then goes back to sleep once she finds her Wubba Nub).  Loves to blow raspberries too! Has almost mastered sitting up. She can last about 5 minutes before tumbling over....So I guess that's almost mastered!

Our pride and joy and she will always be my little princess. Jackson is starting to really love on her. EVERY morning when he wakes up he climbs into her crib with her and plays and gives kisses. Its the sweetest thing ever! Enough with the words....here she is........

Stats:
weight: 18 pounds (83%)
height:  27 inches (86%)
HC: 17 (69%)

of course, I have to compare!

Carrots

Snagged these of Campbell yesterday eating her carrots... I think they are her favorite so far!

Rodeo day at school

Jackson at 2.5 years

This kid seems to amaze us literally each day. He doesn't skip a beat, remembers absolutely everything and will hold you to it even days later. He is SO smart. I know everyone says this about their child but honestly its amazing. I'm constantly getting asked how old he really is because he speaks very well for his age. I mean, yesterday we were having a conversation about the cement trucks doing construction on the road by our house. He went on and one and told me how the road was closed because they are tearing it up and building a new one and that's why the cement truck was there to pour cement......I could go on and on. He doesn't stop talking. NON-stop this kid is!

He is really starting to love on Campbell and is very protective over her. For instance, we were at the grocery store (yep, me and BOTH kids), and this lady stops us because of course Jackson says "hi" to everyone...Anyways, she was talking to us and starting talking to Campbell and complimenting just how precious she is and Jackson put his hand out to stop her from touching her and said "no, MY sister"! Its pretty cute! He started swim lessons this month...like for real swim lessons (4/week for 4 weeks). That's another post, but he LOVES it and can't wait to be able to swim without floaties.

5 months

Better late then never! These pictures were actually taken on her 5 month birthday but I'm just now getting the time to sit down and blog!
Is she not the cutest!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Always smiling...literally, just smile at her and she will smile right back at you...doesn't matter who you are!

This is Jackson at 5 months....resemblence?
